For more than 30 years, MARCO Contractors has helped national retailers, restaurants and banks create attractive spaces that drive sales. Led by president and founder Martin (Marty) Smith, our experienced team of professionals works closely with architects from coast to coast, including Herschman Architects. These relationships give us a strong understanding of design and the ability to bring the visions of architects and retailers to life with superior craftsmanship.

The Marco Creed

At MARCO, we pride ourselves on our ability to schedule projects aggressively and deliver them to our clients on-time and on-budget. This reflects our belief that work is serious, but also fun. With project managers and craftspeople who pay close attention to details because they truly enjoy what they're doing, our build-outs and stand-alone buildings show our passion.

The quality of our performance is exemplified by the fact that we are a 3A1 D&B rated company with an 80 Paydex as well as by the long list of satisfied clients in these retail sectors:

• Restaurants (Buffalo Wild Wings, Charley's Grilled Subs, Chili's, Houlihan's, Long John Silver's, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Sarku Japan and Starbucks)
• Apparel & Specialty Merchandise (Burlington Coat Factory, Crazy 8, Foot Locker, hhgregg, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, Levi's and Office Depot)

We also construct commercial buildings, such as Three Rivers Center for Independent Living in Pittsburgh.

Marco Headquarters

MARCO's home base is in Warrendale, PA (near Pittsburgh) and we have a western office in San Francisco. We hold contractor's licenses in all 50 states, which qualify us to begin work immediately in any location. We truly are everywhere.
